AMANDA™ - Tom 'gave birth' to Amanda when he and his wife were expecting their first child. It helps to try out a name for a while to see if it really fits with a person or a typeface. Although his daughter was to be Samantha, the name Amanda seemed to fit this typeface. Amanda is loosely calligraphic and full of vigor, contrast and angularity. Its texture just hints at some of the typefaces in the Lydian family which served as inspiration.

ANDY™ - an original typeface by Steve based on his friend Andy Mead's handwriting. Click here for more info.
ARIAL™ MONO - created by Tom based on the proportional version of Arial. Click here for more info.
ASHLEY CRAWFORD™ - digitized and adapted by Steve from Monotype's original drawings from 1930.
BINNER GOTHIC™ - a revival of the ATF typeface digitized by Steve and Josh from original hot metal type specimens.
BLUEPRINT™ - an original type design by Steve created for use in designer mock-ups or correspondence.
CIRCUS POSTER™ SHADOW - Circus Poster Shadow was created by Tom Rickner as a tribute to the classic Tuscan Egyptian forms used in many wood types of the 1890's. It captures the spirit of the wild west, amusement parks and ciruses. The details of Circus Poster Shadow are best reproduced at larger, display sizes. Click here to license/download the font.
DUJOUR™ - a revival by Steve of the unique capital letters found in the typeface called Independent originally designed by Colette and Dufour in 1930. Click here for more info.
CURLZ™ - originally designed for the Microsoft Publisher software font set. Created by Steve and Carl Crossgrove. Click here for more info.
FACADE CONDENSED™ - a revival digitized by Steve from hot metal type specimens.
FINEPRINT™ - an original type design based on Steve's handwriting.
GOUDY ORNATE™ - a revival digitized by Steve from hot metal type specimens.
HAMILTON™ - a revival by Tom of the original Hamilton types. William Hamilton Page was a designer and manufacturer of wood type in the late 1800's. Among his designs were three faces, Nos. 508, 510 and 513, each design being lighter and narrower than the previous. The Bold weight of Hamilton is based upon No. 508, while the Light and Medium faces are Tom's own interpretation of this genre of sans serif. Click here for more info.
LEBEAU™ - an original typeface design by Steve after consuming too many M&M's.
LINDSEY™ PRO - Steve designed this typeface after being impressed and inspired by his neice's handwriting. Features a variety of contextual alternative characters. Click here for more info.
PERICLES™ PRO - a new typeface by Steve based on the American Type Founders typeface by Robert Foster. Enhanced with a bold weight and a variety of OpenType typographic features. Click here for more info.
TRUESDELL™ - a revival of Frederic Goudy's "lost type" digitized by Steve from hot-metal specimens. Steve designed a new weight and extended the character set to make it truly useful for today's computer-based artists and publishers.
