Scotch Roman

Scotch Roman Italic
Description
Inspired by typefaces born in Glasgow and Edinburgh in the early nineteenth century, Scotch Roman is a text design with a big personality. Conceived in the Monotype Type Drawing Office in 1907, Scotch Roman's letterforms are wide and legible, with sharp details and just a hint of quirkiness. This little family has been put to good use in books and magazines, and is a lively alternative to the Century types. Nicely readable in standard text settings, Scotch Roman is also an excellent choice for those times when a slightly larger point size is called for (such as in children's books).
