Description
British designer Ashley Havinden's handwriting was made famous when he turned it into his namesake typeface. This informal brush script, released in 1955, was a fashionable addition to the popular hand-lettered styles of the time. Ashley is strong yet friendly, with rough quirky characters that project a welcome handmade feel. A heavy script, Ashley is best used at large sizes, or for small amounts of text where legibility is not a concern.
