Arial® Unicode® is an extended version of the Arial font containing glyphs for all code points within The Unicode Standard, Version 2.1.

Arial Unicode, also know as Arial Unicode MS, is a font that contains nearly 50,000 characters and supports many languages. It provides support for the Asian languages as well as for all the languages used in the major commercial markets and is Unicode compliant.

The Arial Unicode font is distributed with the Microsoft Office suite of products and is used to provide default language support for many non-Latin languages & scripts, including Arabic, Hebrew, Vietnamese, Thai, Hindi (Devanagari) and other Indic languages. Arial Unicode also includes CJK support (see the Unicode ranges below).
