Open Handset Alliance - Droid Fonts

Ascender's Steve Matteson designed this font collection for use in the Android platform. The Droid Sans, Droid Serif and Droid Mono fonts were created for use in mobile phones. Wired.com reported that "The early consensus is that designers are ga-ga over Droid" and Gizmodo said the "System Fonts for Android Look Clean and Google-y".  More information: Droid fonts for the Android platform
