Mobile Phone Keypad fonts for Motorola

Ascender was given the assignment to design a new set of fonts for next generation Motorola mobile phone keypads. Ascender's Steve Matteson worked with the Motorola team to create a design that is unique to Motorola, and improves on earlier fonts. The numerals were designed to be legible at small sizes that are typically used on these devices. The image on the left is from a recently released Motorola mobile phone.
