The Chank™ Company is a Minneapolis-based type house. Mister Chank Diesel began making fonts in 1992 when he worked as creative director of the alternative music magazine Cake. Jim Parkinson has been designing letterforms professionally for over forty years. He started as a lettering artist in 1964 for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, then moved back to his native California and was a freelance lettering artist doing everything from sign, advertising, packaging and even lettering for rock bands including Creedence Clearwater, Taj Mahal and The Doobie Brothers. In the mid 1970s Jim worked with Roger Black at Rolling Stone magazine to design a variety of typefaces for the magazine, including the Rolling Stone masthead. In 1990 Jim put away his pen and ink and moved exclusively to the computer to design his fonts. Jim Parkinson specializes in custom fonts and designing and repairing logos and nameplates for magazines and newspapers.

His work has been recognized by the Western Art Directors Club, featured in HOW Magazine and his photographic imagery has been published in Communication Arts. steve mehallo is a freelance designer for a variety of Sacramento, California-based and international companies, and continues to develop new fonts that add to his typographic repertoire.

Sudtipos is an award-winning type foundry based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. TypeTogether is an independent type foundry started by Veronika Burian and José Scaglione in 2006. The two designers met at the University of Reading whilst completing their MAs in Type Design. TypeTogether creates and publishes high quality typefaces and collaborates on new type projects together. Hence the name. TypeTogether is focused on finding innovative and stylish solutions to old problems for the professional market of text typefaces with a focus on editorial use: creating typefaces that perform well in continuous reading, but have enough personality to show.
