Ascender + Font Bureau
The new Georgia Pro and Verdana Pro fonts were developed by Ascender, Carter & Cone and The Font Bureau. The original Georgia and Verdana fonts were commissioned by Microsoft and designed by Matthew Carter to address the challenges of on-screen display. Boutros International, headed by Mourad and Arlette Boutros, has led the field of Arabic creativity, typography, calligraphy and design for more than 40 years. The Chank™ Company is a Minneapolis-based type house. Mister Chank Diesel began making fonts in 1992 when he worked as creative director of the alternative music magazine Cake. Parkinson Type Design
Jim Parkinson has been designing letterforms professionally for over forty years. He started as a lettering artist in 1964 for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, then moved back to his native California and was a freelance lettering artist doing everything from sign, advertising, packaging and even lettering for rock bands including Creedence Clearwater, Taj Mahal and The Doobie Brothers. In the mid 1970s Jim worked with Roger Black at Rolling Stone magazine to design a variety of typefaces for the magazine, including the Rolling Stone masthead. In 1990 Jim put away his pen and ink and moved exclusively to the computer to design his fonts. Jim Parkinson specializes in custom fonts and designing and repairing logos and nameplates for magazines and newspapers.

Stereotypes is a Germany-based type foundry showcasing fonts designed by Sascha Timplan.
