We all interact with fonts on a daily basis, but often take them for granted. When a font works properly, it goes unnoticed, quietly communicating messages from author and content developer to reader and consumer. At Ascender we’re passionate about the details and subtleties in the art, craft and science of digital typography.
Our goal with The Ampersand is to inform and educate our readers on topics from the technical to the aesthetic, as well as to discuss typographic trends, highlight case studies and showcase new fonts.
